Bags of the Week: Summer Colors
Welcome to a new edition of Baghunter’s Bags of the Week, an opportunity to gain an insight into a selected few of the bags we have on offer. With summer beginning, our theme of the week is summer colors. These bags are perfect for warm summer evenings and hot summer days, and are the perfect complement to any summer outfit. The three bags getting the Bags of the Week treatment this week are a Hermes Birkin 35 H Orange PHW, a Hermes Birkin 25 Rouge Exotic Lizard, and a Chanel Double Flap Jumbo Bag in Yellow.
Hermes Birkin 35 H Orange PHW
Eye-catching, breath-taking, and the epiphany of summer, this Hermes Birkin 35 H Orange PHW is the ideal bag to show off during the warm summer months. Crafted from Epsom leather, the bag boasts a stunning H Orange color, a classic in the Hermes color palette and a wonderful color to compliment bright summer attire. Hermes Birkin 25 Rouge Exotic Lizard
Next up we have a slightly different style of summer bag, a Hermes Birkin 25 Rouge Exotic Lizard. Yes, the bag is also a Birkin, but it emanates a completely different type of summer vibe. First, the material is an exotic lizard skin. This is a rare and fragile material and one which isn’t as suited to heavy use as the bag we examined above. The rouge exotic color which has been dyed into the material is also different. It is an extremely difficult color to get right on lizard skin and is also a perfect summer evening color.
Offsetting the wonderful rouge exotic color is the palladium hardware which is fund on the lock, clasp, and base studs of the bag. The palladium works extremely well with the lizard skin and the rouge exotic color, providing a combination which is sure to wow on summer evenings. You can also see on the picture below that the Hermes stamp above the claps features the single line “-“ meaning that this is genuine lizard skin from which the bag is crafted. Also notice the other small details such as the precise hand stitching on the handles and top of the bag.
Another feature of the bag which makes it perfect for summer evenings is the size.
