Bags of the Week: Limited Editions
Welcome to a special edition of ‘Bags of the Week’ as we take a look at three special limited edition bags – a Hermes Birkin 35 Bag Ghillies, Hermes Kelly 35 Supple Arlequin, and a Hermes Kelly 32 Tri-Color. All three of these bags are extremely rare and valuable, making them not only a stunning addition to any collection, but also a sound investment. Let’s look at each of these bags in more detail.
Hermes Birkin 35 Bag Ghillies Limited Edition
The first of our bags is a stunning Hermes Birkin 35 Bag Ghillies which immediately catches the eyes thanks to its unusual color combination. The argile and etoupe colors both contrast and complement each other wonderfully, with the subtle tones offering a balance which is pleasing to the eye. Also noticeable are the detailed and intricate trimmings which draw the eye to the top and bottom of the bag. The swift leather, formerly known as Gulliver leather, features a fine grain which is wonderfully soft to the touch and possesses qualities such as absorbing dye comfortably and reflecting light.
Measuring 35cm x 28cm x 18cm, this Birkin is the ideal size for carrying a range of items beyond the essentials and is a perfect daytime bag. The palladium hardware found on the clasp, buckle, lock, and studs is built for consistent use with its strong durability. The cute leather tassel on the lock strap along with the single-leather piece clochette adds charm and elegance to the bag.
The Hermes Birkin Ghillies is an extremely sophisticated design, with subtle details found in many aspects of the bag. The flexible swift leather is partitioned on the side panels, meaning you can carry as little or as much as you desire in the bag without compromising the overall appearance. Acquired in pristine condition, meaning the bag is in the same condition as it was when it left the factory, this Birkin Ghillies comes equipped with a lock, keys, and clochette and is available for $26,500.
Hermes Kelly 35 Supple Arlequin Limited Edition
Next up we are truly delighted to present a Hermes Kelly 35 Supple Arlequin in a truly unique combination of colors. It is difficult to find words to describe the sensation when first laying your eyes upon this incredibly rare and unique bag, with an incredible six colors offering a combination like no other. The handles, lock, clochette strap, and attachable shoulder strap are dyed a wonderful Sanguine red. The front and back panels of the bag are a medium orange color, while the side panels contrast each other – one a blue Lin and the other a blue hydra. The opening strap is a deep gold and completing the electric color combination is an etain colored flap.
The bold color combination works perfectly and is guaranteed to catch the eye of admirers everywhere you go. However, the leather colors aren’t the only aspect of the bag to take into account with the palladium hardware offering a seventh color visible on the claps, lock, and base studs as well as at the bottom of the handles. The bag also offers flexibility with the side panels expandable by opening the clasp straps for extra space in the already spacious interior.
Measuring 35cm x 28cm x 18cm, this Hermes Kelly Supple Arlequin makes a fantastic office bag, daytime bag, or evening bag. The rarity of the bag along with the fact that it is limited edition also makes this a scare opportunity for collector and investors to get their hands on a wonderful bag. Acquired in pristine condition, meaning that the bag is in the same condition as it was when it left the factory, this Hermes Kelly Supple Arlequin comes with a lock, keys, clochette, sleeper, and Hermes box and is available for $27,750.
Hermes Kelly 32 Tri-Color Limited Edition
Rounding off this week’s edition of Bags of the Week is a Hermes Kelly Tri-Color bag in a coveted size 32. What makes this particular bag so special is the combination not only of three colors, but also of three highly desirable materials. The first material is a fine grain Swift leather, which is soft to the touch, a baby bull Clemence leather which is a classic Hermes material, and an exotic ostrich leather. Thee three materials are colored in a scale of blue – cobalt, blue jean, and colvert – with an eye-catching and pleasing design on the main body of the bag. The contrasting blue colors are easily matched to many other colors, making it easy to complement almost any outfit with this bag.
Adding to the design and appearance of the bag is the palladium hardware found on the clasp, buckles, lock, and base studs. This hardware is both durable and hardwearing, allowing you to turn the clasp thousands of times and still experience a smooth movement as you would when using it for the first time. The intricate stitching on the bag using white thread accentuates the blue colors and is all carefully stitched by hand. Inside, the bag is extremely spacious, allowing the owner to carry more than just the essentials while maintaining the shape and appearance of their precious Kelly.
Measuring 32cm x 23cm x 12cm, this Kelly Limited Edition is in excellent condition, meaning it is in near perfect condition but may have some minor wear. As the bag is a limited edition, you are unlikely to see another become available on the market, making it an excellent opportunity for both collectors and investors to get their hands on a truly rare and exclusive bag. The bag comes with a range of accessories including the lock, keys, clochette, care card, sleeper, shoulder strap, raincoat, and original Hermes box. It is available for $39,950.
